If you get the following error in Word:
You are attempting to open a file type (Word 2 and earlier Binary Documents and Templates) that has been blocked by your File Block settings in the Trust Center.
You can modify the registry as so to resolve it:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Word\Security\FileBlock]
