Security Notification
On 4 June 2026, Medilink identified unauthorised access to our remote support platform during a limited period in the early hours of the morning.
Upon discovery, we immediately secured the affected systems and commenced a detailed investigation. We are reviewing system logs and remote support session records to determine the scope of activity and assess any potential impact to customers.
Based on our investigation to date, we have not identified evidence that patient records were accessed through this incident.
As part of our commitment to transparency, we are notifying customers and providing updates as further information becomes available.
Customers whose systems were identified as having been accessed are being contacted directly with additional information and recommended actions. If your organisation is affected, you will receive a separate communication from Medilink containing details relevant to your environment.
We have already implemented additional security measures, including strengthening authentication requirements for our support systems, reviewing access controls, and removing unattended remote access capabilities from customer environments.
As a result of these changes, future Medilink support sessions will require customer initiation or approval before access is granted.
We sincerely apologise for any concern this incident may cause. Protecting our customers' systems and information remains a priority, and we are committed to continuing to strengthen our security controls and keeping customers informed as our investigation progresses.
If you have any questions regarding this notification, please contact the Medilink Support Team.
