If you get errors whereby the remote desktop connection seems to be randomly but constantly reconnecting every few minutes, see below:

It may be that you have had a Windows 11 update in Feb 2025, and your Remote Desktop server is older (Server 2012).

The fix is to disable RDC UDP on your (client) computer (not the server).

Unzip and run the registry file below, or manually set the following:

1. From your client PC (not server) go to Start -> Run

2. Type "REGEDIT" and hit enter.

3. Navigate to the following Registry Key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Terminal Services\Client

4. Create a new DWORD (32-bit) Value:

Name: fClientDisableUDP

Value: 1

5. Restart your PC and test RDC again.
