Appointments

This module is to organize doctor appointments for patients.

Default View

By default, the appointment list shows only appointments assigned to current user with a doctor role.

The selected appointment could be associated with these operations:

Pay invoice of appointment if the appointment has at least one invoice associated.
Edit invoice of appointment.
  • Create new task associated with appointment if there isn't one yet.
  • Show tasks of appointment if there are a few tasks associated;
  • Show the only task associated.
Delete selected appointment.
Go to consultations of patient of appointment.
Toggle multi-select mode. In multi-select, multiple appointments listed could be selected for reassigning to the other practitioner.


Hints:
If a selected appointment has no invoice associated, the toolbar won't have the invoice and payment buttons displayed.

Multi-practitioners View

Multi-practitioners view may be enabled in [Settings/Preferences] to view appointments assigned to checked practitioners.

Add

Depending on the user role and some settings, what available in the drop down menu may vary.

When you want to create an appointment and assign to current user -- you as a practitioner, or assigned to a selected practitioner in multiple practitioners view, you will see this:

Remarks:
You have simular menu items in theĀ Patient Launch Screen centered around a patient.

Select patient and propose 5 slots


In the dialog, you may search a patient by name or phone number. In case of people with the same name, you may distinguish through birthdate and medicare number.

You may edit or add a patient.


After choosing a patient, the app will propose up to 5 slots from now on in 180 days. This covers that the patient wants to have an appointment ASAP with some choices of slots.



In multi-practitioners view and having more than 1 practitioners selected, the app will propose up to 5 slots with each practitioner. This covers that the patient wants to have an appointment ASAP which some choices and with any selected practitioner.



The proposed slots are all outlined in the bottom sheet, and are displayed in yellow background in the appointments list.

You may click one of the proposed slots in the bottom sheet to edit the detail of the proposed appointment. Or you may click anywhere to close the bottom sheet, then you may click on one of the proposed slots in yellow to edit the detail.


Select patient and propose 5 slots within date range

The workflow is similar to prior one, with an additional step to choose date range. This covers that the patient wants to have an appointment not ASAP but in the future, for example, next week.


After choosing date range, the proposed slots will appear in the bottom sheet.


Propose 5 slots within date range

The workflow is similar to prior one, but without choosing a patient first. This covers that some people sometimes would prefer to allocate available slots first before taking the patient's name and details.


Select patient and add to the first available slot

After you selecting a patient, the app will add an appointment to the first available slot, and show the edit window. This covers that the patient wants to have an appointment ASAP.


Remarks:

This menu item is available in the single-practitioner view and one practitioner selected in the multi-practitioners view.


Add to the first available slot

This is similar to prior one however without selecting a patient first. You may define the patient in the edit window.
