Note: This problem has also occurred in the November 2018 data, but is now fixed. Please follow the below instructions.

On the 1st Dec, we identified a problem with the December 2017 data whereby only generics were shown.

This was due to a slight name difference in a file MIMS provided us, which was rectified later that day.

Users who had previously updated to the Dec 2017 MIMS data (i.e. in late November), won't be automatically prompted that there is an update. This is because we don't prompt you to update if your MIMS data if it is still valid.

If you think you may be affected by this issue (i.e. you cannot search via product name), you can force a MIMS update by following these steps:

  1. Delete your Medilink32bnt\MIMS and \\<SERVER>\MEDILINK\MedilinkUpdate\MIMS folders.
  2. Run Medilink32bnt\bin\MedilinkMIMSDownloadAndInstall.exe
  3. This will take about 10 minutes. There will be a question part way through (say Yes).
