With terminal server printing, there's 3 basic ways to do it with Medilink:
1. Use a network printer. This is probably the simplest option for local terminal server sites (would need a VPN for distributed sites).
2. Use redirected printers. The unfortunate issue with redirected printers is that they may slightly change names when you log in (the number at the end changes).
Because applications like Medilink remember printers by name, when the redirected printer name changes Medilink no longer has the correct printer name, so you get an error (i.e. you have to go into Printer Setup each time you login to Medilink).
3. Use 3rd party remote printer software. This solves the redirected printer issue. We recommend TSPrint - their unlimited user license is $399 USD
